Pillars of Support

A series of experimental portraits of my mother, father, and brother using an experimental ink splatter effect. In order to create the dripping effect, black India ink was splattered onto acetate, scanned into Photoshop, and masked with the photographs. The colored ink splatters were created by converting the splatters into brushes using the RGB color channels and then used with a color fill.
